Genetic Algorithms: A Solution to Fiber Reinforced Composite Drilling Challenges

Natural fiber composites are a group of materials that have gained increasing attention in recent years due to their potential replace traditional various applications. However composite made up layers fibers and resin can separate from each other during drilling, leading delamination. This paper proposes multi-objective optimization approach for drilling natural composites, considering three key parameters: cutting speed, feed rate tool geometry. The objective is minimize delamination thrust force. Multiple linear regression analysis employed develop the equations function, which then optimized simultaneously using genetic algorithm (MOGA). results demonstrate proposed effectively identify optimal parameters balance trade-offs between competing objectives. be useful improving efficiency quality increasingly used industrial
